Who is this course aimed at?

  • Revenue terminology – the lecturer will discuss and explain many of the terms used in the operation of PAYE 
  • Operation and calculation of PAYE
  • Tax credits and standard rate cut off point explained in detail
  • Commencements with and without a P45 to include new jobs and pensions service
  • Temporary and emergency basis with and without a personal public sector number
  • Week one/month one (non-cumulative) basis
  • Week 53 to include rules for the Universal Social Charge in week 53
  • The pay-related social insurance system as it applies to both employers and employees to include the tapered PRSI credit
  • The Universal Social Charge dealt with in detail to include new reduced rates
  • Revenue forms - P30, P35, P35L, P35L/T, P35LF, P60 and P45 to include new requirements from 2017
